No. ParishMart is a private company that acts as a technology facilitator. We do not receive or hold donations directly. Instead, we enable and process donations and transactions on behalf of verified organizations, under full legal and fiscal compliance.
If you represent a church or nonprofit organization, you must provide a valid 501(c)(3) determination letter issued by the IRS. This allows your donors to receive tax-deductible receipts.
ParishMart itself does not issue tax receipts, but if the selected cause is a verified 501(c)(3), the platform will facilitate the generation of the receipt by that organization.
