Parishioners of All Saints parish, formed in 1982, celebrated its first Mass in what is now the home of the City of Sunrise Recreation Department. Led by Father Anthony Mulderry and Sister Millicent Zimmer, who joined the church in 1982 as the pastoral minister, the parish thrived.
A successful capital campaign allowed for the construction of a multipurpose building, the Parish Center. Phase I of the Activity Building supported growing CCD educational, social, and community needs and opened in fall 1988. A new chapel was completed in 1989. Phase II enabled the parish to establish a preschool, which opened in 1991, a Family Center in 1994, and a larger church, dedicated in 1995.
All Saints’ School opened in September 1998 with a kindergarten class and by the next academic year had been expanded into a full school.
All Saints Catholic Church is rich in cultural and ethnic diversity. We offer Masses, Bible study and spiritual enrichment programs in both English and Spanish. Our common bond is our strong faith in the Lord Jesus and our desire to be one as His Church, with a commitment to being of service to all God’s people. Services and ministries include those to youth, elderly, and needy as well as Mass choirs.
