Since 2017, Mary’s Hope Network has brought Christmas boxes filled with toys, clothing, and love to children in Venezuela who live in poverty or shelters. What began as a small family tradition is now a movement of faith and solidarity uniting dozens of sponsors in South Florida and beyond.

This year, 281 children are waiting for their “Cajita de María.†More than a gift, each box is a symbol of hope, dignity, and faith — a reminder that they are not forgotten and that love has no borders.

ParishMart – Legal Disclaimers

1. Transparency in Fees

• ParishMart charges a 5% fee on every transaction processed through the platform, which includes all payment processing (“merchantâ€) fees.

• This fee is automatically deducted from each transaction before funds are transferred to the respective parish, cause, business, or seller.

2. Responsibility of Sellers / Organizations

• Each seller, parish, or cause registered on ParishMart is solely responsible for the content, quality, and fulfillment of the products, services, or donations offered.

• ParishMart operates exclusively as a technological and payment facilitation platform, connecting buyers/donors with sellers/organizations.

• ParishMart assumes no liability for the accuracy of posted information, delays, non-fulfillment, or disputes between sellers/causes and buyers/donors.

3. Donations as Products

• Donations listed on the platform are treated as symbolic products for the purpose of fundraising.

• ParishMart guarantees that all donations, after the deduction of applicable fees, will be transferred to the designated parish, cause, or organization.

• Donations are non-refundable, except in cases of verified technical error during the payment process.

4. Payments and Transfer Timing

• ParishMart will process payments and transfer funds to the corresponding organizations within the timeframes established in the Terms & Conditions (e.g., within 7–15 business days after the transaction).

• All payments are made in local currency or in the currency previously agreed with the organization/seller.

5. Legal and Tax Compliance

• Each registered organization, parish, or seller is responsible for complying with all applicable local laws, including but not limited to:

  • Non-profit registration requirements (if applicable).

  • Tax reporting and payments.

  • Business licenses and operational permits.

• ParishMart does not provide legal or tax advice and recommends that each organization consult with its own advisors.

6. Limitation of Liability

• ParishMart is not a contractual party between buyers/donors and sellers/organizations. Its role is strictly limited to technology facilitation and payment processing.

• Under no circumstances shall ParishMart, its affiliates, officers, or employees be held liable for indirect damages, lost profits, consequential damages, or any claims arising from transactions between parties.

7. Acceptance of Disclaimers

• By using ParishMart, all buyers/donors and sellers/organizations acknowledge and agree to these disclaimers, confirming their understanding of ParishMart’s role as a connecting platform and not as a direct provider.
