Annunciation Catholic Parish
Founded in 1959 to serve Catholics in Dade and Broward Counties, Annunciation Parish welcomed parishioners from Saint Stephen and Visitation Parishes. Masses were first celebrated at the Lake Forest Civic Center and Madonna Academy before the dedication of the permanent church in 1963.
The parish established its school in 1961 with 222 students in kindergarten through fourth grade, and by the following year, enrollment had grown to 297. Today, the educational complex includes four buildings with administrative offices, a library, and a gymnasium that also hosts school activities. The parish center provides additional space for a computer lab, art, music, Spanish, and science rooms.
Parishioners actively participate in ministries such as the Legion of Mary, the Saint Vincent de Paul Society, and Respect Life. They also serve as ushers, lectors, Eucharistic Ministers, and choir members. Bible study groups in both English and Spanish help enrich the faith life of the community.
We warmly welcome you to join us in worshiping the Lord!
